Ragu grew up in a depressed ex-steeltown tucked in the clutches of the Appalachian Mountains. This would account for his poor sense of humor and his somewhat dismal outlook on life. For fun he enjoys making fun of people and throwing rocks at passing freight trains while sitting on a dock reaching out onto a creek which isn’t much bigger than the dock. He works at a bookstore and puts a smile on his face whenever he can. If you ask him, he thinks that you are the most amazing person in the world. He has also made it clear that he wishes that I list here that he is currently going through a midlife crisis at the age of 31 and he’s a little upset that this means that he’s only going to live until the age of 62. I can also tell you, as his editor, that he’s a terrible speller and he relies heavily on spellcheck, and when it is not available it is unimaginable how difficult it is to clean up his messes. Please, if anybody knows of any aspiring authors, I would gladly be their editor so that I don’t have to schlep for this idiot anymore. That being said, Ragu is an all-around great guy. If he asks, I would never say anything bad about him. Thanks for covering for me!
Rose is a graduate student in clinical psychology by day. By night, she's still just a student. However, during those nonexistent cracks of time, Rose is a reader and writer. Young adult works are her favorites, particularly those in the fantasy genre. Other interests include music, running, fitness DVD’s (she’s a total junkie), and hanging out with friends and family. Rose currently resides in Chicago, but misses her home town in western New York.

I'm Aly, an educator working with elementary age students, and mentoring teen girls in the area of writing. I love having my job be an “excuse” for reading all kinds of children and young adult fiction. I claim that it’s so that I can keep up with what students are reading but in fact, I just really enjoy reading the vast amount of well-written and creative novels geared towards children and adolescents. When I don't have my nose buried in a book, I enjoy hanging out with friends, cooking, and listening to music.
