We're putting together our first ever print copy of YA Literature Review! This is an exciting step for us and we hope that you all will help us make this as successful as possible. We want the print Review to keep the same ideals as the podcast. We hope to present good stories, insightful reviews and artful poetry. If you'd like to help us by submitting something for inclusion, please read further to see what we're looking for.
The Review will be printed very simply, as we need to keep our costs down, but we'd love to include a little of everything done in or about the YA and Childrens literature genres. All content must be appropriate for ALL ages (no excessive swearing, sex, etc.) although "edgy" topics may be considered.
We especially welcome content written or drawn by anyone 18 and younger. If you have a child that has a poem, story, or piece of art that you'd like included in the Review, those items will get special consideration. Please be sure to provide a name (does not have to be full or real) and age. Art will need to be scanned and emailed as a file.
With this being our first attempt into the print magazine world, we can't pay much for content. We're offering $5 for short texts like poetry and flash fiction, $10 for the cover art, and $10 for longer fiction. Contributors will be able to purchase copies for a reduced price.
